John Fred Reher Jr.

Mr. Reher was born on April 9, 1936 in Bensenville, IL to his parents, John and Malinda Reher. He graduated from Bensenville Community High School. After high school he enlisted in the US Army with an honorable discharge in 1962. He attended University of Illinois after the army and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He married Barbara in 1960. The Rehers moved from Bensenville, IL to Miami, FL, where John worked with Wackenhut Corporation. In 1977, they moved to Arlington Heights, IL where he worked at Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company until he retired in 1997. John and Barb moved to Cape Coral, FL in 1998.

Mr. Reher was a patient and supportive man. He enjoyed boating, traveling and reading.

Mr. Reher is survived by his daughters: Kaye Raducanu and Gayle Lewis (Mike), grandchildren, Michael Raducanu, Jennifer Lewis and Brandon Lewis, nieces and a nephew. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister: Marie Barnes, and his beloved wife, Barbara.

A viewing will take place on August, 28, 2019 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery followed by a military service at 12:00 p.m.
