I was shocked to hear of John’s passing.  He was one of the few people that my gearhead husband trusted with our cars.  He was fair, honest, & had a great sense of humor.  He was so kind to me when my husband passed away,  & told me if I needed anything, even a picture hung, he was there for me.  I will miss his big smile, & happy disposition.  My sincere condolences to his family.

My mother-in-law lived next to John's wonderful parents Diane & Bill Meyers. Our son Billy played with John as a little boy when we would come to Florida to visit. He was a wonderful son to his parents, taking his Dad to live with him after his Mother's death.  Please accept our deepest sympathy to all the family at John's passing! 
While at Country Club Exhaust we found out today that John had passed!  God Bless you all!

I've known John since we were kids. I was fortunate enough to meet his daughter Kiannah a few times, who attends my daughter school as well. I just met little John Meyer and got to talk to his wife Tatiana for the 2nd time. 1st time after his passing. He always showed me if there was something needing repair, before doing it.  He was an honest mechanic. I would expect the tradition to carry on. He will be missed greatly.

John was my brother in law and my friend ,i want to thank him for being a great one , fishing was one of his favorite things to do as well as cooking and he knew all about cars, even thought am in SouthAmerica and he was in Florida he would come here or we would communicate often,he was always there to give me any advise if needed and wanted me to have a great life and to be successful as well thanks for being a good husband to my sister and also a good father to my nephew  we need more like you . Rest In Peace John.

I did not know John as long as many of these folks, in fact we only met twice while he was working on my car in 2021. 

I could tell right when I met him that he was the kind of friend anyone would wish to have. 

John texted me multiple times about fishing and even invited me out in his boat in late July. I declined, and I really regret it. 

John is a rare, true kind human, and I could sense it from the start, and reading all these only confirms it.

John was a long time close friend of mine and always a true gentleman.   We didn’t talk often but whenever we did it seemed as though we picked up right where we had left off.  We shared love of food and cars, especially Ferrari’s.  He always treated me better than he had to in business and always knew he could call me at anytime for anything as I could him.  My deepest condolences go out to his loving wife & son.  They had a great one.  He will be so missed by all who knew him.

Words cannot express how sad I really am. Having known John since the mid nineties,  I feel like I have lost a close family member. Our countless conversations about cars, tires, steaks  and the many many customers that he would be cutting mufflers off of perfectly good cars would have me in hysterics. I was that guy cutting off mufflers in 95 to have turn downs installed on my 5.0  His attempt to speak Spanish to me(I don’t speak Spanish) would have me in tears as I would accuse him of stereotyping. I miss you so much!!! There will never be a day that goes by that I don’t think about you!! You have taught me so much and showed me trails in this world that no one will ever walk!! I will cherish every moment we’ve had together and continue to ask the lord to guide and provide for your wife and children!! HarborFreight runs just won’t be the same without you!! Gone from this earth but never forgotten! John had a heart of a true friend, no matter what day or time John was there for you. His passion was his hobby of boating & fishing  "Red Dawg". 
I am so happy that I got to call him my friend. We enjoyed fishing together and against each other for longer than I care to admit. I learned from John tactics, techniques I will never forget. Fishing was his hobby but his life's passion was his family,  that was where his heart truly shined, you could see his joy when he would talk about his family.  John will alway be in our hearts and in our memories so he will never truly be gone from us. John was an amazing person with a hug heart. I wonder how God fit such a huge heart in John. My childhood friend, we joked about being the best martini making kids in the world because we made them for our parents while they played cards.  
I loved connecting with you as adults and talking to you always made us both laugh to much, I will miss that giant smile!  You are missed so much!
