John Henry Harrington, Jr., 78, of Cape Coral passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020. Born May 18 in 1947, John grew up in Long Island, NY, graduated from Lehigh University, earned his Master’s Degree from the University of Delaware, served with honor in the Army in Vietnam, retired from his career of over 30 years as a process computing specialist chemical engineer for DuPont, and continued to serve as a permanent Deacon of the Catholic Church until his death. John is survived by his beloved spouse of 48 years, Nancy, his son Jerry and his wife Julie and their children Lucas, Eve, Sarah, and Leah, as well as his daughter Marnie and her husband Patrick.
