Jo Ann is survived by her children Steve Jones, John Millan (Vickie), Jennifer Nelson (Jeff) and Sandye Jones del Hierro; her siblings Jackie Peters, Mary Roberts and Bobbie Marshall; her grandchildren Christina Rae Jones, Victoria Anne Nelson (Kyle), Alexandra Lynn Pickett (Chance), Brittany Lynn, Evan Lee del Hierro (Cyndi), Josh Snead (Ashley), Rick Nelson and Jeffrey Nelson (Kalyn). She also leaves behind her great grandchildren Brian, Cody, Serenity, Raegan and Aiden, Braeden, Greyson Joe, Brody, Cole, Jeffrey, Shannon and her great-great grandson Brian.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her little brother Jimmy Peters, Parents Dove and Kenneth Peters and her beloved husband Stanley "Red" Jones of 43 years who passed away October 27, 1999.
JoAnn loved her family, her church and her life's work as a nurse. She loved her career as a nurse and dedicated over 40 years of service to Mary Immaculate Hospital. Helping people was her passion and she treated every patient like they were family, because to her they were. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and the Heart Throbs. She loved to sing and share her love for the Lord. At home she enjoyed playing her piano. JoAnn also belonged to the Red Hat Society.
It is hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. JoAnn is loved beyond measure and will live on forever in the memories of her family and friends.
