Jeanne Somma Huff

On October 15, Jeanne Somma Huff, my wonderful wife, passed away, after a heroic battle with cancer. She was 66 years old. She was Born to Salvatore and Suzanne Somma on Staten Island, New York on December 22, 1955. She lived in Red Bank, New Jersey before moving to Southern California. We met working at the same company, fell in love and got married. We retired and moved to Cape Coral Florida in 2015.

Jeanne is survived by her husband Steven Huff, her sister, Toni Somma and her husband Ronald Ernst, her brother, Rick Somma, her children, Jason Dowd and Thomas Dowd, 4 grand children and her stepson, Jamie Walker.

Jeanne loved to sail and spent many years on our sailboat going to Catalina Island. We even raced our boat from Newport Beach to Ensenada Mexico. When we moved to Florida she joined a dance group called The Calendar Girls and dancing with them and contributing to their charitable mission became her passion. She made lots of good friends like Nancy Miller and Patty Nolan. She enjoyed performing and wearing all the different costumes.

She had a great life, she will be missed by all of us.
