Jean Paul Cyr

Jean Paul “JP” Cyr, 68, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at his home. He was born on January 31, 1946 in St. David, Maine to Vincent and Irene Hebert Cyr. He graduated from Madawaska High School in 1964. Jean Paul was a US Army Veteran and Lifetime Member of the American Legion. He had lived in Florida for 19 years. JP was a communicant of St. Andrew Catholic Church.

He is survived by his loving family, wife of 48 years Helen Fox Cyr; daughter, Lynn (Jeff) Garber; grandchildren Thomas and Lauren Garber. He is also survived by his brother Fernand Cyr, and sisters, Verna Lausier, Jeanne (Ernest) Pratt, Jeannine (Jean Paul O.) Cyr, Martha (Francis) Dufour, Jacqueline Johnson, Fernande (Steve) Bush; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm on Friday at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Road, Cape Coral.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Saturday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, FL. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery. Please visit www.coralridgefuneralhome.com to leave thoughts and memories for his family.
