Jean was born in “Red Hook” Brooklyn, NY on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1933 to her beloved parents, Patrick and Margaret and sister Peggy. Jean was almost married 60 years to the love of her life Tom (who predeceased her in 2013). She was blessed with sons, Brian (Diana) and Thomas; grandchildren, Amanda, Brian Jr., Michael, Christina, Nicolette and Richard and five great-grandchildren.
Jean will always be remembered as a remarkable, active, bright and loving person who valued the company of her many friends and family. She served as President of the Punta Gorda Elkettes Lodge 2606 and was a lifelong member. She also enjoyed playing cards, dancing and travel. Jean and Tom shared many years together flying their plane or sailing their boat.
An 11am inurnment will be held Thursday, November 7th at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
