Jay Thornton Hargreaves

Jay Thornton Hargreaves, age 74, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Jay was born November 3, 1947 in Providence, Rhode Island to Frances Margaret Cleland Hargreaves and Joseph Thornton Hargreaves.

Jay had a long career as a retail merchandiser, working for many northern grocery retailers. He loved "Jay being Jay" and will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Jay is survived by his spouse, Janet Hargreaves; his daughter Jaymee Wills (Shawn); his son Joshua Hargreaves (Alicia); his daughter Jenna Stack (Todd); and his son James Finelli (Jill); his sister Robyn Beals (George), his sister Nancy McNally (William) and his brother Carl Hargreaves (Sue); his grandson Zachary, his granddaughter Lauryl, his grandson Jaycob, his grandson Reid, his granddaughter Olivia, his grandson Jayden, his grandson Dakota, his grandson James and his grandson Ben.

Jay was preceded in death by his father Joseph Thornton Hargreaves and his mother Frances Margaret Cleland Hargreaves.
