She leaves behind her loving husband, Lester Bulson; her son, Paul Wise; her two daughters, Alicia Murphy and Ashley Carbone; her five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sarah Kate, Claire, Joey, and Julia; and her sisters, Cindy Costello and Pam Jesion.
Janet will be remembered as a loving, beautiful, and intelligent woman. As a mother, she always taught her children to be curious about life and ask questions. Her love of science led her to become a middle school science teacher, always creating enriching learning experiences such as writing letters to soldiers. Her creativity was central to her personality as an excellent artist and crafter throughout her life.
Janet was happiest outside surrounded by nature. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, Lester, and always caught the first and biggest fish. Janet also loved her corgis as their handler at dog shows and as pets at home. Her love of dogs and quiet understanding of other people’s lives encouraged her to volunteer at nursing homes as a therapy dog handler. She brought joy to everyone who knew her and will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, Janet, you deserve it. We will remember you in all of the brilliant memories of your life.
Janet will be laid to rest at Coral Ridge Cemetery in Cape Coral, FL. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association on their website at Alz.org in memory of Janet Bulson or anyone else also affected by Alzheimer’s.
A Graveside Service is scheduled for Friday, March 3, 2023 at 10:00am at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery.
