Jane Margaret Martin

Jane was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio and attended St. Stanislaus Catholic Schools. After graduation she attended Business College in Cleveland and thereafter began her career as a legal secretary for a prestigious Law Firm.

Jane entered into marriage to Grant S. Martin in June. 1948. After residing in Cleveland for 27 years they moved to Cape Coral where she was employed at City Hall until her retirement. Thereafter she enjoyed participating on bowling teams for years. For many years she volunteered at Cape Coral Hospital Thrift Store.

Jane was a sincere, honest, kind, responsible, giving, and above all loving daughter, wife, sister, friend and aunt, great aunt, and great-great aunt to many nieces and nephews. We all loved her so much and will deeply miss her.

A Visitation for Jane will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd. S, Cape Coral, FL 33991. A Funeral Mass will occur Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33904. An Entombment will follow the Mass at Coral Ridge Cemetery.

Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Grant, her parents, Julius and Helen Szuszkiewicz, her sisters, Mildred, Wanda, Stefania, and Leocadia.
