Jane Louise Bartolotta

Jane L (Ahlstrin) Bartolotta departed this life to meet her Lord and Savior on June 3rd, 2024, at Cape Coral, FL (previously of The Villages, FL), at the age of 92 years old. She was born the only child of Louise and Canute Ahlstrin on March 2nd, 1932 in Middletown, CT.

At an early age she began to take dance lessons - tap dancing being her favorite form of dance - which continued into her early twenties and then resumed again when she moved to The Villages in 2000, performing in several musical productions including Connie Waldron's 'Show Biz Productions'.

In 1954, she was asked to enter the Miss USA?Miss Universe Beauty Pageant in Connecticut and won the title of Miss Connecticut 1955.

Jane was employed at The Waverly Printing Company in Portland, CT, for over 20 years.

Jane was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, James L Bartolotta. She was the loving mother of 2 daughters, Janine (Bruce) Middleton, Luann Bartolotta and 1 son James D (Lorri) Bartolotta; also, 2 loving grandsons, James J Bartolotta and John L Bartolotta.

Jane was eternally grateful for her life partner and best friend, John J Marino (deceased on 1-19-18) for the last 21 years of joy, love and laughter he had brought into her golden years. Jane had a lifetime of amazing memories with her family and friends.

Internment will be at Veterans' State Cemetery in Middletown, CT, immediately following the church service at St. Sebastian (Middletown, CT) on July 26th at 11:00am
