James Dale Heth

Born July 29, 1948 in Cleveland, OH, Jim always looked forward to playing on the Heron’s Glen softball team and the pinochle club. He was also a very good bowler in both of his local bowling leagues in Cleveland and in N. Fort Myers. However, his true love was the love of the three Golden retrievers he rescued; Kelsey, Suzy and Anne. Jim was a passionate supporter and contributor to the Golden Retriever Rescue shelter. To have Jim in our lives has taught us more than words can say. He is special and the gift of Love he gave all of us will continuously live on! He always said, " it's not goodbye, it's so long for now “. He is a gift to all of us from sweet Jesus and God above. May he R.I.P. and be blessed with the gift of eternal life! So long for now Jim until we meet again! We love and Miss you already! Love, your family!

Jim is survived by a brother Ronald (Agnes) O’Connell; 5 nieces Angie (Charles) Campbell, Terri O’Connell-Waring, Beth O’Connell, Kelly (Robert) O’Connell-McGrath and Laura O’Connell-Baciu; 2 nephews Tom (Lorna) O‘Connell and Jeff (Elizabeth) O’Connell; 3 great nieces Jennifer (Adam) Hawkins, Courtney O’Connell and Meghan Baciu; great nephew Nick Baciu and 2 great-great nieces Morrigan Hawkins and Glenna Hawkins.

Jim is preceded in death by his father Raymond; mother Alberta; brother Marty; nephew Timothy O’Connell and nephew-in-law Fred Waring.

A visitation will be held Monday, September 17th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home between the hours of 10 am – 12 pm with service to follow.
