Dear Jim : I never got to meet your son or his family. Bonnie and I are so saddened by your loss. I too have battled Cancer for 5 yrs. Your son must have been a real hero to fight so long. Jay was the first friend i made down here in flordia ,we met through our daughters who went to school togeather. I will miss my friend  very much, its hard to find friends like jay. I have fond memories of Jay as a young teen in California.I was sadden to hear of his illness and passing at a young age. My deepest sympathies to all he loved, take comfort in knowing his pain is over.

A devoted father and husband will be missed but his memories of being an involved, smiling family member will always be remembered.

He will always be remembered as being a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, nephew, cousin and friend.  Rest in peace Jay.

It was truly an honor to have taken care of James. His determination and perseverance were inspiring. His face always lit up when speaking about his girls.  Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest of sympathies.

Jay taught me the meaning of true love! One of the things I loved about him most is the drive to always improve himself. Whether it was concerning school, being a father, being a husband or in his relationship with God, he worked toward bettering himself and pushed me to better myself.  He always did everything in his power to make me happy! I am heartbroken that I will never feel his arms around me again, but I know that he is waiting for me in heaven! RIP my love!

Jay Cremins was one of the most courageous men I have met during my life. Jay was a Graduate student in the MS in Forensic Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University. I had the wonderful pleasure of knowing him as one of my students and as a friend. Even as he fought the illness, he diligently participated in his courses and all of us, Faculty and fellow Graduate Students, were very fond of his friendly and optimistic view of life. Hi career goal was to become a Counselor for Veterans with PTSD.
Jay will be missed by all of us that knew him.
May he now rest in God's Hands.
