He was born in Burlington, New Jersey on February 2, 1931. He is predeceased by his loving parents Harry Eldridge and Marguerite (Graves) Dubell. He is also predeceased by his wife Margaret Dubell, his brother Arthur Fowler and his first wife Joan Dubell. Harry graduated from Burlington City High School in 1949. He was a 1966 graduate earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Harry had a career as an accountant, doing taxes and working at Burlington County and Manor Jr. College. He taught accounting in the evenings.
Harry served in the Army in the Korean War as part of SCARWAF, a special unit attached to the Air Force. His unit built the runways used during the Korean War. Harry was a member of the American Legion and Elks. Harry loved sports. He coached basketball and played tennis. He was a ballroom dancer, loved music, going on hot air balloons and enjoyed his 30 cruises.
He was survived by his son, Harry Edward Dubell and his wife Karen Dubell of Willingboro, New Jersey, his daughter Kathy Dubell Porto and her husband Tony Porto of Hainesport, New Jersey. His daughter Laurie Dubell Wolvin of Cape Coral, Florida. His grandchildren Harry Dubell, Shannon Dubell, Anthony Porto II, Gina Porto, Michelle Law, Jennifer Fifield, and Vanessa Rice. His great-grandchildren, Christopher Porto, Liam Fifield, Oliver Fifield, Peyton Law, Ava Rice, and Eli Rice.
Funeral services will be held in Burlington, New Jersey. Interment will be at Monument Cemetery in Beverly, New Jersey.
