George Dudley Moore, 92, of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012. He was born on July 15, 1919 in Manhattan, NY to Lyle Dudley Moore and Agatha Couston Moore. He was a Veteran of World War II and the Korean War serving in the Navy, Coast Guard and Army where he was a Second Lieutenant. He worked for 30 years with AT&T Telephone, starting after he returned from WWII. He started as an installer in Brooklyn and moved up to supervisor, then union representative and senior instructor, until his early retirement. George has been a member of the F & A masonic Lodge for over 55 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Dianne Susan Moore and her husband, Mark Evans who reside in Huntington Beach, CA; his son, Thomas George Moore and his wife, Anna Koello More who reside in Cape Coral and Egg Harbor, NJ; grandchildren, Sean Moore Gonzalez, Ryan Moore Gonzalez, Michelle Ann Marie Moore, Jonathan Thomas Moore and Kimberly Georgina Moore. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Moore who passed away on January 8, 1997 in Cape Coral.
