Ernest Robert Woods

Ernest Robert Woods, age 78, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023. Ernest is survived by his wife of 57 years, Maureen (Jo) Woods, his four children and their spouses; Brett Lee Woods & Lourdes (Lou) Woods, Denise Michele Feldman & Brian Feldman, LeeAnne Marie Bernal & Ron Bernal, Robert Michael Woods & Giannina Woods and way too many many grandchildren and great-grandchildren to mention.

After a long and decorated military career in the Air Force, in which he spent 24 years, Ernest went on to spend another 24 years working for Home Depot, mostly in garden center, where whatever he planted grew.

His absence has left a big hole that will probably never be filled, he is well and truly missed.

A visitation for Ernest will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd. S, Cape Coral, FL 33991, inside the Main Chapel, followed by military honors at the graveside from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
