Elmer Edward Lemke

Elmer Edward Lemke, 87 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on June 19, 2014. He was born on July 6, 1926 in West Allis, Wisconsin to Herbert and Anna Jansen Lemke. Elmer was the owner of Lemke Sporting Goods in West Allis, WI. He was a member of Abiding Love Lutheran Church and ran the Senior Ministry at Coral Trace Nursing Home, both in Cape Coral. Special thanks to friends, Rev. James Pankow and church members for all their help and support.

He is survived by his loving family including his wife Carole Lemke; sons Jeff Lemke, Jon Lemke; grandchildren, Joshua, Alicia, Jared; great grandson, Gavin; numerous relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be at 4:30pm on Monday, June 23rd at Abiding Love Church, 3205 S. Chiquita, Cape Coral. “We mourn his departure from us, but rejoice at his entrance into heaven, where all true believers in Christ will finally be reunited forever in the presence of God.”
