Douglas Corie VanPatten, 65 of Park Falls, Wisconsin passed away on December 12, 2019. He was born on June 8, 1954 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Robert Earl VanPatten and Marjorie (nee: Morris) VanPatten. Douglas graduated from Park Falls High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Miller College. Mr. VanPatten was a Veteran of the United States Army. His career was in Sheet Metal.
Douglas was a member of the BMW Club, Harley Owners Group, American Legion, the Freemasons,
and had a passion for motorcycles, reading, traveling, meeting new people, and spending time with family.
He is survived by his daughters, Julie VanPatten and Vicki VanPatten; mother, Marjorie ( Larry Johnson)VanPatten; his partner, Loretta Corum; brothers and sisters; Diane and Joe Duff, Denise and Bob Hoogstra, Donna and Brad Johnson, Dale Van Patten and Brenda; eight nieces and nephews.
At his request family will gather to celebrate Doug’s life over the summer at Newman Lake.
