Doug,  Rest in peace brother...you will be missed!  So many great memories and so many great times spent together.  You use to say to me when I was growing up..."Red Red who done did dat to yo head red"..for the record I hated it when I was little, but as I got older I realized how much love was behind it and now I miss it.  Much love to you from all of our family, when I asked Frank and Katie what they remember most about you, they recalled the pool parties at your house in Livonia and how you used to make them laugh:)  We were sad we could not come to say God Bless and rest in peace in person but will always be grateful  that we got to spend some time with you last year, and  that you had an opportunity to meet Gary, who loved you immediately by the way!  Listening to you sing "chew tabacca chew tabacca ...SPIT was pretty awesome too.  Much love Red and family.

Uncle Doug will truly be missed. I always loved going to your house for family gatherings. Even though you lived far away you were close in our hearts. Brianna will never forget how her Uncle Doug showed her how to blow in the conch shell!

Doug, I just KNOW that you are up there giving the angels a hard time... and grinning all the way!  It was so long ago that we basically started our Consumers careers "together" but the memories are grand.  Thanks for that!

You were a great uncle and a great co-worker.  Not many people can say that. You were bold and opinionated, but in the most likeable and humorous way.  Never did I hear a negative word about you at Consumers.  We love you and will miss you.  No more pain, Uncle Doug.  Truly, rest in peace.  To Aunt Janet, Doug Jr. and Carey - keep your memories alive in your heart.

 I was so sorry to hear about Doug, I remember how he always made me feel welcome to the family.. He was always the life of family get togethers.
