Dennis Paul Hughes

He was born August 13, 1947 in New Jersey, and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Cape Coral American Legion. Dennis loved NASCAR, working on cars, classic Muscle Cars and just anything to do with cars. He also had a passion for boating, and was a proud owner and member of Jersey Speed Skiffs (JSS) but most of all, he loved his family and friends and we will all miss him.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Irene Meigh Hughes and Samuel Joseph Hughes II; his brother Samuel Joseph Hughes III and his sister Phyllis Coyle.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Capone Hughes, of Cape Coral; step-daughter, Ashley Mason; nephews Martin (Noreen) Coyle, of Tom's River, NJ, Michael Coyle, of Cape Coral, FL, Doug (Dana) Hughes, of Shrewsbury, NJ; niece Kerry (Greg) Lembcke, of Myrtle Beach, SC; great nieces and nephews, Danny, Casey (Josh), Jessica, Jared, McKayla, Tristan, Colton and a precious great-great niece, Emelia Meigh.
