David John Auger

He was the son of Raymond Auger and Sandy Auger of Punta Gorda, Florida and Shirley (Levasseur) Armstrong of Venice, Florida.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Jill and their two daughters, Avery and Mckenna. He also leaves behind two step daughters, Carissa (Fortier) Laverty and her husband, Zachary Laverty of Tallahassee, Florida and Lauren Fortier of Cape Coral, Florida.

David is also survived by his sister, Lynn (Auger) Boss and her husband, Raymond Boss of Fort Myers, Florida. He is also survived by his brother, Scott Auger and his wife, Kim, of Punta Gorda, Florida. He also leaves behind a sister, Lisa Mandeville McGeough of California.

David graduated from Tollgate High School, in 1985.

Since moving from RI in 2015, David was employed by Kia of Port Charlotte for the past 5 years, working in different departments. He previously worked for Branch Village Pools and Spas and Boilermakers in RI before moving to Florida.

David was full of life and enjoyed spending time with his family. But his biggest pride and joy were his "little girls", Avery and Mckenna. He loved playing in the pool, taking them to the parks, and watching movies together. They will miss him immensely.
