He is preceded in death by his parents: Oscar and Viola Allen; his sisters: Marjorie, Mary Jane, Charlotte and Cathy; and his brothers: Jack, Rex and David.
Dale is survived by his wife of 54 years, Leah; son Nicholas; daughter Sharon (Brett) Lomnicki; granddaughter Mikala; grandson Preston; brothers Jim, Gary and Danny as well as many nieces and nephews.
Dale was an Air Force Veteran who served all over Southeast Asia and Vietnam. Following his 8 years in the service, he became a lobster and giant blue fin tuna fisherman in New Hampshire where he also owned three restaurants and a bowling alley. Once moving to Florida, Dale continued commercial fishing, owned a courier service at the airport, a vending business with his son, Nicholas, and was a security guard.
Dale was honored to be a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, and Shriner for 55 years.
He was a vivacious, adventurous, spirited man with a quick wit and a wicked sense of humor who loved his wife and children deeply, adored his grandchildren and couldn’t be torn away from his dogs Benji and Bentley.
Dale will be deeply missed by many.
There will be a private memorial service on the water.
