Carolyn S. Strickland

Carolyn Sue Strickland, 74, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in Ypsilanti, MI. Born on March 4, 1941 to Walter and Mary Louise Helton in Hamilton, OH, Carolyn married the love of her life Dennie Otto Strickland May 31, 1959 in Fort Myers, FL who preceded her in death June 1, 2010. They were married 51 years. For over 30 years, Otto and Carolyn ran a successful real estate company named Otto Strickland Real Estate, of North Fort Myers, FL. She loved her Savior, husband and family.

Carolyn is survived by her 3 children Lisa (Doug) Strader of Milan, MI, Steve Strickland (Lenny Parrella) of Laguna Beach, CA, and Jill (Jon) Zbonack of Creedmoor NC; 4 grandchildren Matthew (Isabel) Strader, Lindsey (Collin) Grotbeck, Cody (Angie) Kimmel, and Madeline Kimmel; 5 great grandchildren Audrey, Jackson, Micah, and Wesley Strader and William Grotbeck; 3 siblings Linda (Clarence) Sellers, Gary (Debbie) Helton, and Greg (Carol) Helton and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st between the hour of 12:30 – 1:30pm at the Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery with service and interment to follow.
