Bruce, was born and raised in Medina, New York where he made some of his favorite memories. After high school, he took a vacation to Florida and decided to stay. Always a hard worker, he made a successful and lasting career in the construction industry.
Bruce truly loved life… but even more than that, he loved his wife. Bruce and Debbie married April 29, 1989 and shared a deep love and a beautiful life together. Their love story will last for an eternity.
His big heart and charming, larger than life personality sparked countless lasting friendships. Bruce was adored by everyone who met him and absolutely loved spending time with his family and friends… and he always brought the “life to the party”. He lived his life to the fullest traveling, playing golf, fishing, watching sports (Go Gators) and of course all these were done with lots of Captain Morgan and snacks!
Bruce will be dearly missed and leaves behind his loving wife Debra Lea (Tolles) Huntington. He also leaves behind his father Bruce William Huntington; sisters Leslie (Huntington) Breslford , Karen (Huntington) Nice, Jill (Huntington) Andrews; in-laws Anna (Boots) Tolles, Vicki Pocci (& Jeff) Wilson, Karen Pocci, Diana Tolles (& Mike) Quackebush, Dennis Tolles, Michelle (Tolles) Ward, and William ( & Sandy) Somers (along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews!). Bruce also is survived by many friends who he called “framily”.
He was preceded in death by his mother Fay (Helbling) Huntington, sister in-law Carrie (Somers) Price, his father-in-law (who absolutely adored him) Earl Tolles… and his beloved beagle Sophie.
“A real friend is never truly gone…their spirit lives on in the memories of those who loved them”
