She was born in Passaic, N.J. on January 6, 1949 to John and Phyllis Hoek.
She graduated from Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, N.J.
She moved to Florida around 1974 where she worked as a paramedic and for Lee Health.
Barbara was a sweet and selfless person who put everyone in her life first. She never judged anyone and always seen the good in people.
She had a passion for sewing and was a wonderful seamstress. She made some beautiful bridal dresses, and dance outfits.
She also enjoyed reading, listening to music, going to the beach, and just spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her children Jerry Ross Jr. and Sandra Carter. Her grandchild Jerry Lee Ross. Brothers John Hoek, Wayne Hoek and her sister Beverly Hoek.
She was preceded in death by her husband David Lee Crane, and her parents John and Phyllis Hoek.
