Anthony Thomas Givens

Anthony Thomas (Tom) Givens, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Hospice Center HealthPark. He was 82. Tom was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on December 3, 1939 to Irene and Thomas Giovenco (both deceased). He was raised in Blaine and Columbus, Ohio where he graduated from Linden-McKinley High School in 1959. He attended Ohio Stat University.

Tom worked for the Coca-Cola company and was a firefighter with Clinton Township in Columbus before moving to Cape Coral. He continued to work for Coke and was a lineman With Lee County Electric Coop before being hired as a firefighter for the city of Cape Coral in 1975. He retired out as a Captain after 26 years of dedicated service. His pastimes thru the years were bowling, boating and especially fishing.

Tom leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 37 years, Marcia Givens; his children Tony Givens, Tamara Sula (Jim), and Tina Kilbury (David); 5 grandchildren, Jay Givens, Kelly Liepold, Carley and Connor Kilbury and Kyla Rush.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to Hope Hospice at donate hopehcs.org and indicate " In memory of Tom Givens".

A graveside for Anthony will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd. S, Cape Coral, FL 33991.
