Mrs. Norman was my 3rd grade teacher at Cedarcrest South more Elementary School.  I loved her. She was a favorite of mine. A great teacher. I will always remember she taught us some Spanish 1968 . AEIOU Elborro Santhe Mas Que Tu. I still remember after all these years. Not sure I spelled it correctly.  But in English it means AEIOU The borro knows more than you !

Mrs. Norman was my 3rd grade teacher. My parents were going through a divorce and it was a tough time for me.  She became my fairy Godmother. I just adored her. She made me feel so special. And she always had a smile. I became a teacher. I think it was because of her. Through the years,  I tried googling her but never could locate her.

Sorry I  just heard, She was a great person I would talk to her and she was so kind. To my cousins I am so sorry ,your cousin John. 

Mrs. Norman was a fashionable lady as well as an excellent teacher.  I had her in 3rd Grade at Bernard Terrace Elementary, Baton Rouge, LA.  I will never forget her matching outfits, shoes, and fingernail polish, which could change daily.  I can still Cha-Cha like she taught us.  I always wondered where she was.  So glad she taught for many more years.

My daughter, Rachel, and all the children, knew of, and loved Jack.  Although he had passed several years before Rachel was in Anita’s class, one of Rachel’s greatest third grade pleasures was hearing tales of Jack and tending to his magnolia.

I was involved with Anita's care toward the very end of her life.  We connected quickly and seemed to understand each other well. She had incredible strength and poise as her body betrayed her and I was blessed to have met her.  

Anita's was a Life Well Lived.  She will be missed yet fondly remembered.

Anita will be forever in our hearts, she blessed us with her zest for life and friendship.   We knew her for many years through her/our very good friend, Dick Allison.   She came many times to Punta Gorda with Dick who is a retired airplane pilot, they spent time with other aviation oriented friends at my parents house (Dale and Tedi) and at monthly birthday group dinners.  We shall all miss Anita very much.   Now she and Mom can once again have fun together in Heaven.  We send our hugs and sympathies to those close to her. One of the most awesome educators and a classy lady.....My daughter was her student almost
30 years ago and she left such an impression on our lives that we still speak fondly of her...her two different colored shoes to her method of connecting to her students.   She will be missed and I know she is still spreading her love of education and life in heaven.

Dalis, I remember with fondness the days I was privileged to share with you at Jack and Anita’s home in Baton Rouge in the 60s.  They were an amazing couple. Godspeed, Anita!

Wonderful lady, coworker and a dear, trusted and loving friend. The void of her passing will never be filled, but the memory of her life well lived will forever be a blessing. We watched one last March Madness game together,..Duke vs Kansas. She was well pleased with the close outcome, but added.. “LSU is more of a football school ya know”, to remind me, a UK fan, one more time, that LSU is the only university on the planet! Godspeed Anita! Love you. Miss you....”in a New York minute”!❤️👼🙏

Anita will always be remembered by me and my daughter Nancy. Condolences to the family especially Dalis and Charles Greenwood and their family. May her soul rest in peace.
