Aida Maria Reyes

At 16 she moved with her mother to New York. In 1955, She married Victor Reyes, had 2 daughters, Nancy and Awilda ”Wendy”. They gave them 4 grandchildren: Melissa, Victor, Bobby and Becky. Victor gave them their first great granddaughter, Alyssa.

In 1969, she accepted Christ as her Savior, was baptized in The Seventh Day Adventist Church and from that day dedicated her life to being a faithful Christian.

In 1996, she moved to Cape Coral, where she was a faithful member of the Ft. Myers Spanish Church. She held many posts there, but her passion was to serve in community service, mainly the food pantry.

After battle with cancer, she rested in the Lord on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 11 am.

She is at peace, waiting for that glorious morning of the second coming of Christ. When He will return and she will rise to live with Him for eternity.

Aida Maria Garcia nació el 25 de Febrero del 1937 en Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico. Sus padres, Aurelia Vega y Ramon Garcia. La menor de 9 hermanos.

A los 16 años junto con su madre se trasladaron a Nueva York. En 1955 contrajo matrimonio con Victor Reyes, nacierón 2 hijas, Nancy y Awilda “Wendy”. Ellas les dieron 4 nietos. Melissa, Victor, Bobby y Becky. Victor les dio su primera biznieta, Alyssa.

En el 1969, aceptó el llamado de seguir a Dios, fue bautizada en la Iglesia Adventista del Septimo Dia y dedico su vida ha ser una fiel cristiana.

En1996, se trasladó a Cape Coral, donde trabajó fielmente en la iglesia de Ft. Myers. Dedicó su vida al servicio a la comunidad.

Despues de su batalla contra el cancer, descasó en el Señor el domingo 27 de Junio del 2021 a las 11 a.m.

Esperando la mañana gloriosa en que Jesus vuelva en las nubes de los cielos y la levanter para ir a morar con El para toda la eternidad.
