Tana Marie Daniels

A graveside service for Tana Marie Daniels, 77, of Rockwall, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton, Texas. Reverend Chris Yost officiating. A gathering and visitation will be held one hour prior at the Eubank Funeral Home.

Tana went home to the Lord on July 9, 2024 in Rockwall, Texas. She was born in Rochester, MN on April 3, 1947 to Walter Schubert and Belle Shepherd Schubert.

Tana grew up in Hayfield, MN and graduated from Hayfield High School. Tana enlisted and proudly served two years in the US Air Force. On March 1, 1969, she married her one and only love, Jerry Daniels. The couple had 55 wonderful and beautiful years together.

Tana was Christian by faith. She was a giver and faithful servant. Many days were spent giving to others. Working at Helping Hands food bank, volunteering at church and reading books to help insure they had been transcribed into braille correctly. Tana was blessed to work with blind children and helping them discover the wonderful world of books through her work at Region 10 Education Service Center and was a volunteer at the Rockwall County Library. She was an animal lover, Tana dearly loved her dogs; Dixie, Calla and Betcha. She showed her love of animals by volunteering at Patriot Paws. Tana’s biggest joy was her family. Time with her family would leave her beaming. Tana will be dearly missed, but she will live on in the many memories and love of those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Belle Schubert.

Those here to cherish her memory: her beloved husband, Jerry Daniels; daughter, April Guest and husband, Justin; son, Thomas Daniels and wife, Cynthia; grandchildren: Hunter Marx, Brendan Marx, Mason Daniels and Carson Daniels; and a host of other family and friends.
