Shirley passed away at her home in Canton, TX on August 9, 2020. She was born May 2, 1947 in Athens to Eldred Eugene and Jimmie Lou Woolverton Wycough.
Shirley graduated from Canton High School in 1965. She enjoyed being a cheerleader for the state champion football team. She enjoyed living in Plano, TX and working at Texas Instruments as secretary to a vice president. She retired after twenty years of service, after meeting and marrying Robert, the love of her life. She and Robert moved to Canton around 1999. Shirley had the most generous heart of anyone you could ever meet. She had a passion and love for all animals. One of her favorite pastimes was feeding her hundreds of hummingbirds. She also enjoyed music and cooking. Shirley was very charismatic, and people enjoyed being around her. She never met someone in which she didn't immediately make friends. She was very competitive in nature and loved having a good time.
Mrs. Rozeboom is preceded in death by her parents, Eldred and Jimmie Lou Wycough; and her husband, Robert Rozeboom.
Shirley is survived by her sister, Sandra and husband John Dunlap; brother, Joe Bob and wife Jan Wycough; brother, Larry Don and wife Tina Wycough; step-son, John and wife Linda Rozeboom; step-daughter, Robin and husband David Nichols; two grandchildren: Sarah and Joshua Rozeboom; several nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great nephews; and her fur-babies, Sammie and Prissy.
