Richard Allen Cupp

Richard passed away peacefully on September 24, 2021 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on January 30, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to Wayne Allen Cupp and Ruth Helen Peaks Cupp.

Richard grew in Pleasant Grove, Texas. He graduated from Comstock High School. On March 18, 1988 he married his true love, Rebecca Coker. The couple had 33 beautiful years together. Richard enjoyed camping, being outdoors, and was an avid fisherman. He spent many hours building and racing cars, when he was not on the road as a truck driver.

Richard drove a truck for Delek Trucking and loved being on the open road. His coworkers were family and he adored the men and women whom he worked alongside. Richard was a hardworking man that loved spending time with family and friends. Richard’s pride and joy was his beloved wife, children, grandchildren and his great-grandchildren had become the light in his and Rebecca's lives. He leaves an empty place in the hearts of all that knew and loved him.

Richard is survived by his wife, Rebecca Cupp; children, Ronnie and Amy Conatser, Carl and Kendra Conatser, Sherry and Skeeter Reese, Jacqueline and Nichole Flores, Richard Jr. and Dana Cupp and Amanda French; grandchildren, Blake Little, Daylon Little, Jordan Conatser, Becca Conatser, Chelsea Maxfield, Holle Smith, Kaitlyn Coker, Clayton Priest, Austin Doering, Ashlyn Doering, Erina French, McKinley, Deegan and Paxton Cupp.; great-grandchildren, Robyne, Lela, Emmytt, Legacy, and Anslee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Ruth Cupp; sister, Kathy Hulsey.

A visitation will be held on September 29, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
