Rebecca Ann Weatherford

Celebration of life services for Rebecca Ann Weatherford, 54, of Athens, Texas will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, Texas with Bro. Howard Burley and Pastor Mike Burns officiating.

Rebecca was born on October 1, 1969, in Terrell, Texas to Johnny Ray and Connie Jo (Andrews) Sisk. After meeting online, Rebecca married her true love, Rickey Glynn Weatherford, on September 10, 2011, and that union celebrated 12 wonderful years together. Rebecca loved her family above all else and worked hard every day to take care of them. She loved spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren and demonstrating her joy of cooking and baking. At other times, she enjoyed snuggling with her adored pot belly pig and pet bunny, Cash.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Connie and her step-father, Jerry Lewis.

Rebecca is survived by her beloved family: husband, Rickey Weatherford; sons: Clay Sisk and Chelcey, Dustin Weatherford and Gulsah, Tristan Weatherford and Kilee Anderson; daughters: Misty Delk and Graham, Cristy McDowell and Michael; treasured grandchildren: Aidan, Austin, Carmen, Harley, Jayna, Taylan, Tanner, Ethan; father, Johnny Sisk and step-mother, Christina; aunts: Linda Wheeler, Paula Stone, Tina Lancaster; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Clay Sisk, Dustin Weatherford, Graham Delk, Tristan Weatherford, Steve Stone, Justin McLean, Michael McDowell and Harley Delk.

Rebecca will be laid to rest at Zion Hill Cemetery in Van Zandt County. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
