Peter "Eli" Elijah Parker

Eli was born March 21, 1999, in Palestine, Texas. He graduated from Martin’s Mill High School in 2017. Eli enjoyed playing basketball, fighting fires, and making music. He had an infectious smile and a larger-than-life personality, touching lives everywhere he found himself. His kindness and compassion for people who were struggling left many wonderful memories for those who cared for him.

Eli is preceded in death by his grandfather, Curtis Smallwood.

Eli is survived by his parents, Matt and Tammy Parker, of Martin’s Mill; brothers: Austin Parker and wife, Kathryn, of Crosby; Shaun Parker of Martin’s Mill; Antonio Parker of Martin’s Mill; and Andrew Parker of Martin’s Mill; sisters: Erika Howell and husband, Isaac, of Forney; and Brynna Parker of Martin’s Mill; niece, Kiara Parker of Crosby; grandmother, Darlene Smallwood of Martin’s Mill; and grandparents, Charles and Christine Parker of Martin’s Mill. He is also survived by his biological mother, Jillian Williams of Palestine; and his biological father, Damien Robinson of Palestine. Eli is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, both biological and adopted.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made in Eli’s honor to the South Van Zandt Volunteer Fire Department.

Visitation will be held at The Bridge Fellowship Church in Martin’s Mill on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 10:00 am with funeral service to follow at 11:00 am.
