Peggy Lynn Dixon

Peggy Lynn McLemee Dixon was born on September 25, 1955 and was called home to our Lord on April 21, 2019 in Tyler, TX. Peggy was born and raised in Eustace, TX where she lived most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Her grandkids were her world and she loved being their mamaw and watching them play sports. She was not just their mamaw she became mamaw to a handful of other precious children in Eustace. Peggy spent most of her life being a caregiver for others, she was a longtime Volunteer on the Eustace VFD and organized many events for them including setting up the Bingo Hall in Seven Points. She spent her later years volunteering for the Eustace Youth sports Association. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

Peggy is survived by her husband Dennis Dixon of Eustace. Her daughters Crystal and husband Matt Harrison of Eustace and Cara Taylor of Eustace. Five step children Lynna and husband David Chapman of Sachse, Matt and wife Robin Dixon of Kemp, Cynthia Dixon of Sachse, Jason Dixon and wife Alisha of Payne Springs and Kristi Dixon of Plano. One sister and brother in law Glenda and Jerry Huddleston of Mabank. Three grandchildren Alexis Taylor, Cotey McLemee and Grady McLemee all of Eustace. Five nieces and a nephew Paige McLemee, Trenda McLemee, Renea Miller, Wendy Knight, Jean Rodrigues and Billy McLemee. Also, numerous great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Grady and Clara McLemee, two brothers Bobby McLemee and Perry McLemee and a nephew Brady McLemee.

Pallbearers will be Charles Easley, Shannon (Droop) Cravey, Tracy Stegall, Darrin Knight, Galyon Rodrigues and Gary D. Nelson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be her other precious children that called her mamaw...Ranger McKee, Dillon Long, Brandt Powers, Zane Neeper, Cole Carpenter and Hunter Lane.

Funeral arrangements are being made at Eubank Canton and she will be laid to rest in Payne Cemetery in Eustace.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
