A graveside service will be held for Mike Brunner, 83, of Canton, Texas at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Haven of Memories Memorial Park Cemetery in Canton, Texas. Bro. Mike Roberson officiating.
Mike passed away peacefully on January 21, 2024 in Athens, Texas. He was born in California.
Mike grew up in the Orange county California area. He was an electrician by trade for many years. In 1977 Mike came to Texas and settled in Canton. His dream to own land and be his own boss became a reality when he established the Brunner Dairy Farm in 1981. Mike was a hard working and simple man. He enjoyed his horses and tending to his cows. Mike was the person to call when something needed fixed. Dairy farming is not for the weak, it's not just a job - it's a way of life. It was a life that Mike loved.
Mike is survived by his children: Wes Brunner and wife, Ruth, Sandra Brunner, Jay Brunner; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; other family and friends.
A gathering before the graveside will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Eubank Funeral Home.
