Mary Nell Robertson

Mary went home to the Lord on November 3, 2022, at her home in Canton surrounded by her caring family. She was born in Troup, Texas, on March 16, 1926, to Elbert and Beatrice Harris. Mary and Ted Robertson were married in 1949. Throughout her life she enjoyed numerous activities including being a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church since 1974. Mary loved to travel with AARP, church groups and family. She also volunteered at elections and served as a Democratic Election Judge. After working at Perry’s and Paul Michael’s, she finally retired at the age of 88.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ted Robertson; and her dear parents, Elbert and Beatrice.

Mary is survived by her warm hearted family: son, Kevin and Tammy Robertson; daughter, Amy and Wayne Welge; grandsons, Bobby Slagle and Callie Gwin-Putman, Justin Mauch, Tyler Robertson and Micah Kelley; great-granddaughter, Izalea Michelle Robertson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service.
