A funeral service for Mary Elizabeth Bromhall, 96, of Murchison, will be held 1 pm Thursday, April 18, 2019, at the St. Edwards Catholic Church in Athens with Father Nolan Lowry officiating. A Rosary will begin at 12:30 pm. Interment will be in Edom Cemetery.
Mrs. Bromhall passed away April 15, 2019 in Plano. She was born October 30, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan to Charles Louis and Elizabeth Gertrude Eckert Bral.
Mary and her family moved to the Dallas area from Michigan in 1951. She and her husband, Sid, then moved to Callender Lake in 1980. She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Athens, the Friendship Club and the Jolliettes Club at Callender Lake.
Mrs. Bromhall is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Bral; husband, Sid Bromhall; two sons: Robert and Charles Bromhall; brother, Gordan Bral; and sister June Tsakos.
Mary is survived by her son and his wife, Michael and Patricia Bromhall of Grand Prairie; daughter, Sandra Bromhall Munoz of Plano; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or your favorite veteran's organization.
