Anyone who met or knew Mark immediately recognized his intelligence and humbleness. Mark was an avid reader, particularly of science. He believed one read to learn. Mark loved animals, he always said "they are innocent." He had a gentle, caring touch, especially with his cat, Boots. Mark was a loyal Cowboys fan and never missed watching a game.
Mark was a Christian who lived his life with morals and principles. He graduated at the top of his class from CHS, attended Texas A & M where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in civil engineering. Civil engineering, hydrology, was Mark's lifelong career.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Ray. His survivors are Crystal, his daughter and Debra, his sister and Coley, his nephew.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Eubank Funeral Home, Canton, TX,
Bro. Jim Leach officiating. Interment will follow in Haven of Memories Memorial Park.
