Linda Ann Allison

Linda Ann Martin Allison,82 of Canton, Texas was born in Gilbert, La on December 29, 1941 to the late Ben and Helen Martin. She passed from this life on June 02, 2024 after several years of battling cancer and dementia.

Linda graduated from Gilbert High School in 1959 and moved to West Monroe where she completed her degree at LA Business College. Years later, she went back to school and graduated from Cloyd’s Beauty School. Her husband built her a quaint little beauty shop beside their home, and she became the hair stylist, best friend, confident, and entertainer of many ladies. She loved her clients, but her favorites were always the more elderly ladies who treated her like a daughter. After her mother died in 2019, her son and daughter built her a new home between their homes in Canton, TX. She remained in Canton until her death.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Allison; her parents, Ben and Helen Martin.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Lisa Allison; her son, Brad Allison and wife, Pamela; grandchildren, Ben Sampognaro, Courtney Allison and Caleb Allison: her sister, Carolyn Norris; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins; her dear and special friends, John & Janet Ferro; a host of other family and friends.
