Kenneth Billie Morris

A visitation gathering will be held at 10:00 a.m. for Kenneth Billie Morris, 92, of Eustace Texas on Wednesday, July 7,2021 followed by a funeral celebrating his life at 11:00 a.m. Bro Steve Glosup officiating at Eubank Funeral Home.

Kenneth passed away peacefully on July 3, 2021 in Athens, Texas. He was born on August 4, 1928 in Van Zandt County to Johnnie Franklin Morris and Minnie Pollard Morris. He grew up in the Van Zandt county area. On April 8, 1950 he married his true love, Norma Jean Fugate, they were married 62 years at her passing. The couple moved to Dallas where they raised their family and came back to the area in 1990. Kenneth loved the Lord and was a member of China Grove Baptist Church of Eustace. Kenneth loved playing golf and table tennis. Fishing and bird hunting were leisure time pleasures. Kenneth enjoyed farming and raising cows. His biggest joy was family, he dearly loved and cherished his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He leaves an empty space in the hearts of those that loved him. They rest assured they will one day see him again.

Kenneth is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Ron Entrekin, Karen and Greg Balthrop; grandchildren, James and Buffy Entrekin, Leslie and Jeramy Chapman, Robert and Alex Entrekin, Kenneth Entrekin, Justin and Jenni Balthrop, Kristy and Josh Landry; great grandchildren, Claire, Caleb, Colin, Reid, Chloe, Grace, Caitlyn, Caylee, Jackson Carter, Isabella, Natalie, Peyton, Carter and Blake.

He is preceded in death by parents, Johnnie and Minnie Morris; beloved wife, Norma Jean Morris; sister, Margie Tarielo; brothers, Ernest Morris, Leonard Morris, Sherman Morris and Frank Morris.

Interment will be at Haven of Memories in Canton, Texas.
