She passed away June 29, 2015 in Dallas, TX.

Karen was born October 30, 1950 in Dallas, TX to Lester and Retha Smith Jr.

She grew up in Mesquite where she graduated high school. She married her high school sweetheart, Lynn Hildebrand and started their family in the DFW area. Karen was Christian by faith who put her Lord first. She was a caring and generous person who loved her family and enjoyed romance novels, swimming, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Karen is survived by her Husband, Lynn Hildebrand, Daughter, Angela & Dr. David Berenstein, Daughter, Carrie & Dustin Roberson, Granddaughter, Eliyah Roberson, Grandson, Gabriel Roberson, Grandson, Leo Berenstein, Mother, Retha Smith, and Brother, David Smith

She is preceded in death by her Father, Lester Smith Jr., and Brother, Danny Smith.

Family will receive friends Monday from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
