Johnny went home to the Lord on June 21, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on December 15, 1950, and grew up knowing everyday he was loved. After high school, Johnny joined the Air Force and proudly served this country from 1975-1981. After he was honorably discharged from the military, he became a cross country trucker. He loved traveling the open road across the US. Soon Johnny was blessed to meet the love of his life in Renay, who he married on September 9, 2000, and shared 22 wonderful years together. Johnny was known for his talent to make people around him happy and he enjoyed making them smile. He had such a giving heart and loved to serve others without any hesitation. He was the man to go to if you ever needed anything and he didn't need acknowledgment for what he did for friends and family, the joy he brought to others was enough. He was an avid sports fan and football was his particular favorite during his free time. Johnny loved to build things and carpentry was a passion of his throughout life. His love of building, not only structures, led him to be a huge part in the beginning and growth of Clearview Bible Church.
Johnny is survived by his beautiful wife Renay; daughters: Rebecca Baca and husband, Ernie, Heather Krug, Michelle; son, Joe Warren; 7 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Barbara Johnson.
