John Gordon "Butch" Richardson Sr., 80, of Wills Point, passed away February 10, 2023 in Dallas. He was born November 1, 1942 in Dallas to Clarence Leslie Richardson Sr. and Beatrice June Woodard Richardson.
Butch served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Minyards after 48 years. Butch lived in Dallas for many years before moving to Wills Point. He loved animals, football, fishing and spending time with family.
Mr. Richardson is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Martha; daughter, Denise; and brother, Clarence Richardson Jr. Butch is survived by his daughter, Sharon St. Clair, and her husband, Randy St. Clair Jr.; son, John Gordon Richardson Jr. and his wife, Nancy; four grandchildren: Randy St. Clair III, Ashlee Richardson, Evelyn St. Clair and Victoria Richardson; sister, Gwendolyn Simmons; multiple nieces and nephews and lots of other family and friends.
