Hazel Wooten

Mrs. Wooten passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015, in Edgewood.

Hazel was born January 12, 1931 in Shreveport, LA to Horace Grover and Juanita Ethel Boswell Redding. She lived many years in Irving and the past 30 years in Van Zandt County. She loved to go to garage sales.

She is survived by her two daughters: Peggy Walser of Edgewood and Lela Tate of Wills Point; son, Johnnie Wooten, Jr. and his wife, Lory, of Irving; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Debbie Brown of Wills Point; brother, Cecil Redding of Wills Point; and sister-in-law, Jean Redding of Irving.

Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Wooten, Sr.; her parents; three brothers: Edward, Arnold and Norman Redding; and a son-in-law, Doug Walser.
