Georgina J. Wilbanks

Georgina passed away surrounded by family on April 6, 2021 in Canton, Texas. She was born on February 3, 1961 in Tamaulipas, Tula Mexico to Francisco Jimenez and Maria De Leon.

Georgina grew up in Mexico and as an adult came to Texas. She met and shortly after married her one true love, James Wilbanks on August 21, 1989. Georgina enjoyed gardening, crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. She and James took many wonderful vacations and trips. Georgina biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, her pride and joy. She has left an empty place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Maria Jimenez; two brothers.

Georgina is survived by her beloved husband, James Wilbanks; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Emerald Wilbanks; step sons, James L. Wilbanks and Victor Wilbanks; grandchildren, Ronald, Jazmine, Malakia, Aiden and Zoey; sisters-in-law, Mary Gordon and Caroline Needham; three brothers and one sister.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021 at the funeral home.
