Services for Gary T. Warren, 70, of Canton, will be held 2 pm Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bishop Elect-Pastor John Taylor III, Pastor Peggy Harris and Assistant Pastor Anthony Prox and Pastor Rodney Petty Jr. Interment will be in Cool Springs Cemetery.
Gary Thomas Warren, Father, Bonus Father, Bonus Uncle and Friend to many transitioned from labor to reward April 10, 2024 in Tyler.
Gary was born in Dallas, TX on January 10, 1954 to Junior Warren and Betty Warren (deceased). Gary was raised in Canton, TX. He graduated from Canton High School.
Gary is survived by his significant other of 19 years, Oma Talley, she was his Angel and now he is hers. He is also survived by his bonus children: Ke'Adric Nelson and Keanan Talley, bonus father-in-law, Dale Talley Sr.; bonus sister-in-law, Gracie Talley; bonus brother-in-law, Dale Talley Jr.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Gary loved the outdoors, he was always working in the yard or teaching his bonus great nephew, Semaj Trim "Bubba" to drive the zero turn. They had a special bond that will never be broken. He was so proud when he went to work in the oilfield. His whole talk when he came home was in West Texas, "We did this, we did that in West Texas." He was proud of the life he achieved in his latter years by being on that RIG! Gary will be remembered as a great man who stood tall and loved life, his generosity, but most of all he loved his Bonus Family.
Pallbearers will be Ke'Adric Nelson, Keanan Talley, Cedric Talley, Damion Davis, John Hawkins and Dale Talley Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Wilson, Eddie Pickens, James Morgan, Lawrence Shamlin, and Fred Morris Jr., and special honorary pallbearer will be Semaj Trim "Bubba."
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
