Gary Joe Townsend
January 23, 1944 – December 13, 2020
IN THE CARE OF
Gary Joe Townsend passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 after a lengthy illness. Gary was born January 23, 1944 in Fort Worth and grew up in Carrollton.
He was preceded in death by his parents Tillery and Eva Townsend, wife Judy, sisters Carolyn Walker and Kathy Lynn Townsend.
He is survived by his brother Danny Townsend, two nephews Bryan Townsend and Kevin Carder, and niece Kristy Weger.
He was a lifelong Christian and while in Marshall he was a deacon in a Baptist Church. After the death of his wife, Gary moved to Canton.
There will be a graveside service at Haven of Memories Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 2:00 P.M.
