Erma J. Welch

Interment will be in Haven of Memories in Canton, TX.

Erma was born May 2, 1935, in Upland, California to John and Josephine Sockwell Foster.

She passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2016, in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Erma was a Christian by faith. She loved fishing and had several trophies to prove it. When she wasn’t fishing, she enjoyed playing croquet, farkle, and painting china and stained glass. Erma enjoyed old characters like Tom Selleck, Roy Rogers, and Dale Evens. She was also a member of the Laurel and Hardy Fan Club.

Erma is preceded in death by her Parents, John and Josephine Foster; Husband, Borden Taylor and Husband, Bill Welch.

She is survived by her Son, Sam & Loni Taylor of Southlake, TX; Son, Larry Taylor of Canton, TX; 3 Grandchildren, Donita Taylor, Sam Taylor, Jr. and Wade Taylor; Great Grandchild, Gianni Taylor; Sister and brother-in-law, Swan & Bill Carmean; Sister, Mary Stovall; and Sister, Kathy Berry.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
