Erik Joseph Hicks

Mr. Hicks passed away April 23, 2022 in Canton. He was born October 31, 1970 in Los Angeles, California to Bobby Joe Hicks and Eleanor Garcia Martinez.

Erik owned and operated Eager Beaver Tree Service for over 25 years. He loved to work and was always building things. He enjoyed riding horses and spending time with family. He and Marcie Beth loved crawfish and listening to music while riding back roads. Erik enjoyed helping people. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a loving husband and father.

Mr. Hicks is preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Hicks.

Erik is survived by his wife, Marcie Beth Hicks; three sons: Justin, Jayson and Joshua Hicks; two daughters: Kadence and Reagan Hicks; and four grandchildren: Alek, Samuel, Reid and Charlie Hicks; mother, Eleanor Garcia Martinez.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
