Courtney passed away on January 18, 2021 in Kaufman. She was born September 22, 1988 in Dallas.
Courtney was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Richardson, TX. She grew up in Richardson and went to Richardson schools. She loved shopping and making crafts. Courtney was strong-willed, determined and very ambitious. She enjoyed her job, having family over, cooking, swimming and laying out in the sun. She enjoyed having her nails done and the finer things in life. Courtney had many friends.
Mrs. Garcia is preceded in death by her father, Grady Moffett, and her grandfather, James Weldon "Slats" Scalf.
Courtney is survived by her husband, Richard Garcia, Jr.; son, CJ Stapp; daughter, Teagen Danielle Stapp; mother and step father, Penny and John Stapp; grandmother, Jane Scalf Tabor and cousins Aerin & Hunter West.
